CMCC offers an extended series of weekend programs, completed in progressive levels, which lead to advanced knowledge and training. Those who successfully complete these programs are eligible to receive certification in these areas.

Clinical Acupuncture

Starting September 2008
Individuals are invited to register for: Session 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14
Offered annually, this one-year, 250-hour advanced training program is the only clinical acupuncture course fully endorsed by the ACO. A variety of internationally renowned instructors combine Traditional Chinese Medicine present practical hands-on needling acupuncture workshops, and the most advanced anatomical acupuncture theories. Completion of the program and obtaining ACO membership allows DCs and MDs to be compensated for acupuncture treatments through the WSIB and Veterans Affairs. The program is open to DCs, MDs, NDs, DDSs, PTs, RMTs, and qualified Acupuncturists. Select individual weekend sessions are available to other professionals with relevant training or experience. Applications will be assessed on an individual basis.

Do you want to get into the Business of Independent Chiropractic Evaluations? Then this program will provide you with the valuable insight and knowledge you need to perform ICE. Upon Completion of this program, you will gain information on all facets of ICE, including the specialized skills, common questions posed by referring agencies and understanding of responsibilities of evaluators to all stakeholders.
